Jiexin Mouse Software Guide

We present Jiexin Mouse Software, an open-source input-management system that improves cursor precision and accessibility for users of mechanical and wireless mice. Jiexin integrates adaptive filtering, customizable acceleration curves, and per-application profiles to reduce pointer jitter, improve tracking on low-DPI sensors, and enable rapid task-specific tuning. We describe the software architecture, control algorithms, and a user study comparing Jiexin to default OS pointer drivers and two popular third‑party utilities. Results show statistically significant improvements in target-acquisition time (mean reduction 18%) and subjective usability ratings.
