The OpenViva team is currently rebuilding the game in (UE5). The Unity‑based version is still available, but development is shifting toward the UE5 branch. This transition will allow for better graphics, more stable physics, and improved modding support. The Character Card system is expected to remain, albeit possibly with new file formats and additional features.
