Do not merge files on a FAT32 USB drive. FAT32 has a 4 GB limit. If your merged PKG exceeds 4 GB (which it almost certainly will), the merge process will fail with a “Disk full” error. Always merge on an NTFS or exFAT drive, or directly to your PC’s internal SSD.
