Solidworks 2022 -
For complex assemblies, you can now hide a sub-assembly, and all its children are hidden automatically without leaving ghosted previews. When you show the parent again, the exact hide/show state of its children is restored. This fixes a decade-old frustration with large assembly management.
The graphical pipeline has been completely rewritten for Large Design Review (LDR) mode. solidworks 2022
| Component | Minimum Requirement | | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Operating System | Windows 10, 64-bit | Windows 10/11 Pro or Enterprise | | Processor (CPU) | 3.3 GHz or higher | A high-frequency Intel Xeon or Core i7/i9, or AMD equivalent, is critical for the single-threaded modeling tasks that define CAD work. | | Memory (RAM) | 16 GB | 32 GB or more is highly recommended, especially for large assemblies, simulation, or rendering. For PDM Contributor/Viewer roles, 8 GB to 16 GB is advised. | | Graphics Card (GPU) | Certified card/professional driver (e.g., NVIDIA Quadro, AMD Radeon Pro) | A certified GPU is not a suggestion but a requirement for stability and to access the hardware acceleration for features like RealView and rendering. | | Storage | SSD strongly recommended | An NVMe SSD is best-in-class for the fastest file opening/saving times, which is paramount for overall productivity. A minimum of 20 GB of free space is required. | For complex assemblies, you can now hide a
