The film follows a group of contestants participating in a post-apocalyptic reality TV show called Ultimate Survivalist: The Apocalypse . Hosted by a tough-as-nails retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel, Dale Murphy (played brilliantly by Henry Rollins), the contestants are split into teams and sent into the remote forests of West Virginia. The goal is to survive the simulated wasteland for a chance to win a massive cash prize.
