The platform supports USB dongles, mobile Wi-Fi hotspots (MiFi), embedded PCI modules, and select mobile phones. Supported Brands and Devices
Beyond unlocking, the client is often used to:
Ensure laptops are connected to wall power during operations, and verify that mobile hotspots have at least a 50% battery charge. A power failure mid-unlock can corrupt the device bootloader.
Watch the status window. The software will communicate with the device, clear the lock counters, and display a "Successfully unlocked" message.
Ensure all mobile operator dashboards, connection managers, or cloud-UI browser tabs are completely closed to prevent COM port conflicts. Step 2: Device Selection and Detection
Beyond unlocking, the client allows users to read and write firmware, which is useful for de-branding provider-customized dashboards.
